5 Minute Upgrade: Illustrated Baggies

The idea for this series was born when a friend requested quick ways to make a gift look nice before running out the door. Want more? Click here to see every 5 Minute Upgrade post to date!

Turn a batch of chocolate chip cookies into sweet little gifts with these doodled baggies. Especially if you don't have fancy clear bags around, these illustrated sandwich bags by babalisme are just begging for you to try for yourself!

If you don't have the steadiest of hands, find a shape you like, place behind the bag, and trace with a permanent pen! These ones are adorable, but you could easily customize some for Father's Day. Utilitarian, personal, and easy to open - sounds manly enough to me!

  1. Charissa! Hi, thanks for finding me at arthurndi :) Glad you liked the ideas and I have to say your blog is AWESOME! I think I'll spend today going through your old postings and updating my gift closet. Thanks again and I just put you on my fav blog list on my tool bar. Can't wait to see what else you've got up your sleeve...

  2. kimberj - Sure thing...I was actually thinking more about the accessibility of paint-your-own-pottery places this morning! I'm really glad you wrote about it. I'm glad to have you as a reader - please chime in as often as you like!

Jenn - You would make some pretty cute ones! If the boys didn't have their food made for them during the day I can see you packing some awfully cute sandwiches.

  5. I just realized that you are from Pasadena. I live in Arcadia! Does the fact that I've noted this make me a creeper? :(
