From The Gifted Blog Flickr Pool

I wanted to highlight some additions to The Gifted Blog Flickr pool, the space for readers to show off their gift wrapping! First, this beautiful necklace and butterfly box by silverkeys. Yes, she made both the necklace and the box! You can read more about it and many other gifts here on her lovely blog.

Here is one from my sister. She wrapped Japanese cherry blossom candies in a clear bag, with tiny paper cut-outs adorning the ribbon on top. Cute! When I asked, she said she cut the little cherry blossoms out while watching TV.

  2. Thanks for encouraging us to send pictures of a Gifted work!!! I just sent cookies to my Father, Father-in-law and two friends who are teachers as a backed to school gift. I used several of the techniques from this blog, and knew that I should have taken a picture!

    I reused clear plastic nut containers and wrote little messages on them for our Dads. I wrapped the container with ribbons and used two of my toppers from the Gifted workshop on top. I also glued on the free "with love and ice cream" tags. :) Overall, they've been a big hit and it was a great way to get creative while sending something that might otherwise seem mundane. Thanks for all the great ideas!!! Next time, I'll take a picture!
