Imaginary Tweets: Bookworm Edition

After a few months of not having anything good to read, I stumbled onto a glut of interesting books...

Finished Shanghai Girls after hearing author Lisa See speak. Smart lady; incredible novel.

Anxiously awaiting my turn for the sequel from the library.

*Edited to add: Got it! It's the large print edition; 623 pages.  : )

Also loved this funny, down-to-earth memoir about reviewing restaurants in disguise. (Recommended here.)

Two families I admire immensely have read and implemented this book. Gonna give it a shot!

  1. Garlic and Sapphires is one of my favorite nonfiction books! I really like Ruth Reichl; I read the article about PB&J on the Kitchn. I haven't had a PB&J since LAUP but she made it sound really good!

    1. That's so cool! I really enjoyed it and would be curious to read more of her books. Haven't tried her PB&J 'recipe' yet, but we have it all the time here because of N. (He probably eats PB&J toast 4-6 times a week...hopefully this is okay for his development.)
