SO happy to announce the arrival of our second son, Little N! He was born last Wednesday after an intense but triumphant 6 hours of labor.
I'm so thankful to God - all of my major hopes for this birth were fulfilled. I was able to labor at home for several hours and felt so supported by my team (husband,
doula and medical caregivers). I'd planned to get an epidural but ended up going without because the labor was progressing so quickly. I can't believe we did it!
We're very much in love with this little guy. Big brother N is doing well, thanks in large part to lots of love from my mom, dad and sister. We're saying farewell to my family this afternoon and embarking on our adventure of being a family of four. I'll be checking in on the blog and posting as I can, so don't be a stranger!

DeleteCongratulations! He looks very sweet. You are so blessed to have had your family there for support. I'm glad all went well for you.
ReplyDeleteWanda, thank you. You're right - it was so great to have my family out! We were able to focus on remembering how to care for a newborn while they gave big brother N lots of love and took care of groceries and cooking. It was much needed help!

Thank you, thank you, Ana! And just to clarify - we did have him in the hospital. : ) We just stayed at home where we'd be more comfortable for the beginning of labor.
