From Son to Mom

I took at peek at reader Claudia's blog the other day and was charmed to see this gift that her 6 year old son, Xavi, wrapped for her birthday.

How cool is that? I can just see the cogs in his head turning to figure out how to cut and construct the box. Is this a foreshadowing of a future engineer? Architect? Sculptor?

He gave her his own two dollars as a gift. I remember as a kid hoarding my every quarter, so this strikes me as a particularly generous gesture. Claudia, thanks for sharing! Sounds like you have a pretty special son.
