3 Ideas for Christmas Gift Wrapping with Kids

We are gradually finding our rhythm as a family of four, but maybe you'll relate to the challenge of making progress on your holiday to-do list with kids underfoot. Here are 3 gift wrapping ideas from the archives that combine quality time with your kids and getting those Christmas gifts wrapped!

1) Scribbled tissue
Hand your toddler red and green (washable!) markers and have her go to town on plain tissue paper. Use for quick stocking stuffer gift wrap or to add a personalized touch to a gift that will go in a box.

2) DIY snowflake gift wrapping
Reader Mika sent in this lovely photo of gift wrap she made with paper snowflakes. If your kid is handy with scissors, make his paper creations the star of your Christmas gifts!

3) Christmas tree mailers
I am pretty proud of these. We had a slew of gifts to mail last year and these decorated bubble mailers were gift wrap and mailable packaging in one! Big N used a circle punch to cut out the 'ornaments' and helped glue them on.

Moms of young kids, how are you doing? Hanging in there? I for one need to adjust my schedule for more sleep. Here's hoping we can move through the Christmas season with grace and celebration!
