Take a Bow | Wrap Story

Our neighbor got married! In his family's Christmas card they announced the news with a sweet picture of the happy couple. I used this tutorial to make a paper bow to adorn a bottle of wine with. Then we left it on their doorstep May Day style.

Big N penned our congratulations. I couldn't resist making a tiny bow for the inside of the card, too.

This news is especially sweet as our neighbor is a gentlemanly man in his 50s. Earlier, his grown daughter came by with a neighborhood contact list with phone numbers and names of everyone on the block, an idea he initiated and she has taken over. We're still very much enjoying being a part of our neighborhood.

Thanks to Midori Ribbon for providing the beautiful gift wrap! If you only have a scrap of specialty paper like this, a paper bow is a wonderful way to utilize it and stretch what you have.

This Wrap Story is part of a series documenting every present I’ve wrapped since the launch of The Gifted Blog. Click here to see them all!
