Sharpie Note | 5 Minute Upgrade

A couple at our church just had a baby girl. As I've written about before, meal deliveries saved our butts in the early weeks of having a new baby, so I signed up to cook them dinner. Using G's pie crust taken from the freezer and my favorite quiche recipe, I made them a meal and added a carton of raspberries for the side.

In a rush to make the delivery deadline, I jotted a quick Sharpie note right onto the foil. It's not a letterpress card or anything, but it was an easy way to share our excitement and let the new parents know what they were about to dig into for dinner.

In writing this post I was reminded of this and this sweet gesture. Any other ideas you have for quick gift upgrades?

This series was born when a friend requested quick ways to make a gift look nice before running out the door. Find more fast gift wrapping ideas here
